"this is a queer soap opera series set in 1940s Thailand after japan invaded. it’s tragic and beautiful sometimes and incredibly over the top and dramatic other times, but i found a charm in that honestly. i’m not a big fan of soap operas, but this one has a good enough story that i stuck around and i definitely enjoyed the ride. i would LOVE to see more queer period pieces!! "
