"The message that love can exist even in the darkest of places was resounding and moving throughout this series. The fact that this is based on a true story is both absolutely heart breaking but inspiring at the same time. When humans experience the deepest of pain it can open up their hearts to the depths of love and a longing for human connection. This series was extremely well done and the acting was absolutely incredible. It is a reminder of the absolute horror of atrocities committed during the Holocaust but from a different angle than I have yet to see- one where love prevails. Watching this was an emotional and moving experience for me. Highly recommend!"
