"This is a fantastically acted historical series. The real characters in this four episode season are put into an immersive setting and fascinating story of the events that may have followed the death of Anne Boleyn. Most of the series takes place in a monastery after a murder. Shardlake, lawyer for Cromwell, is sent in to investigate, and the story deepens. It seems as if everything is set up for a season 2. I truly hope that happens."
