"4⭐️ Moody, foreboding, slightly eccentric, very Irish mystery .. thanks to some darkly odd local characters and Will Forte. I had a hard time getting a grasp if this was a satire of fame seeking podcasters or a more menacingly serious whodunnit. It’s a little of the former for sure but once it took some dark turns I finally decided on the latter. Though at times Will’s character seemed on the precipice of comedic he really does play it straight. Plus the seemingly inscrutable quirkiness of the townfolk belies a not so hidden ominously simmering danger. This show really takes its time and might be too slow for some people. The build up in the last few episodes was excellent though and the climax was actually very cool. Plus the cast is spectacular, especially David Wilmot’s maniacal local. I’d recommend this as the right atmospheric watch for Fall since it takes place in October during Samhain. "
"Tough to accept comedy and crime at the same time and maybe that’s why I struggled with this show. Loved the Irish humour though!"

"Quirky cast of characters and an Irish mystery make for a good show. Based on a Netflix preview (which was basically just a scene from the show, not an actual preview), I thought there would be supernatural elements to the story, but there are not. That's not a bad thing other than I just really love supernatural shows and movies. The three main characters had layers to them that I really liked and the mystery had lots of twists and turns, as all good mysteries have. A solid 4/5*s."
