"This is an excellent story about general characters in the Star Wars universe. They are not specific characters, but people who have been affected by the Empire and the Rebellion respectively. The six episodes, which run from 13 to 16 minutes each, seem like mini-movies, chronicling the lives of two strong female characters. Their paths diverge because of how they were affected by shocking events. I wouldn't recommend this cartoon to young children. The action can be intense and the storyline is dark. The excellent quality of the animation style is what I have come to expect from Star Wars and Lucas Arts. The story is very good, but, along with the score, leaves you in a somber tone. The voice acting is very good and definitely puts you in the mood for what the director is trying to convey in the story. I highly recommend it. There is also another series called Star Wars: Tales or the Jedi."
"Surprisingly good, I’m cautiously optimistic for the Acolyte now. I want it to succeed but i just wish Disney would get back to good storytelling again."
