"I have watched this show(and listened to the old radio show, with a completely different cast. Also, one of the best), for over 40 years and it's still as fresh as the first time I watched it. The characters are so relatable, just set in the 1800's. I especially love the episodes with the Doc Adams/Festus dynamics of the show. It really doesn't matter if it's the black and white episodes or the color episodes, they are all awesome! Matt, Kitty, Chester, Newly, Quint, Thad, are all interesting characters and always add different dimensions to the show which makes it such a special show. I have loved this show forever!"
