"this is such a childhood anime for me!! i would definitely recommend it to elementary and middle school kids—its light-hearted nature and introduction to sweets-making/baking can be inspiring. it’s what got me interested in baking. HOWEVER, for high schoolers & older, if you’re just delving into it without any prior sentiment, you might hate it. there are a lot of plot holes and moments where you’re just like “huh? why’d that happen?” 8/10!"
"The main focus of this anime is baking, it has some magic but it isn't the main focus all the time, the main character isn't transforming or anything crazy. It has romance, and comedy. It all in all is a feel good anime and you learn a bit about baking and making pastries which is a plus for me."
