"If you’re like me, the several week drought when you’ve either seen or at least started everything in the never ending search for a new, good show, is excruciating and you’ll try anything. If someone says they don’t like this, there’s several reasons I can think of why. It’s 10 years old and thus pre-woke. It’s very propagandist. The writing is uneven and they change the MC actress/character after the first season. But if l, like me, want sappy, feel good, tough as nails underdog with a heart of gold and kinda Outlander vibes, give this one a shot. You’re probably not going to binge it but it’s the perfect you have an hour left before bed type show. "
