SAS Rogue Heroes

"This was worth my trying out MGM+ for a while. The three leads are hall of fame, “that one guy from the one thing” and all are fantastic actors. It’s basically three psychopaths with anger problems get set free on the Nazi’s in WWII and start the famous British SAS. Really funny, great action, one of the best 2022 series I’ve seen. My only gripe is I didn’t enjoy the last two of the six episodes as much as the first four. You’ll understand. "

"This is an energetic, fun series about a rag tag special ops unit in WW2. Tonally it falls somewhere between Inglorious Basterds and Band of Brothers but with a British twist. The cast is excellent, headed by Jack O’Connell and Conner Swindells playing long time frienemies who help found the unit. It’s too bad the series got relegated to MGM+ in the US. I think it would’ve been a big hit on a larger streamer. 8.5 out of 10"
