"I’d agree with all of the mixed reviews on here — I binged it back in 2019, and yes, it had a good beginning & middle, and I honestly cannot remember the ending, but it did get pretty cheesy at some point, but definitely worth at least 3 stars and worth checking out if you enjoy #suspenseful #dramas or Renée Zellweger…. Was easy to binge #bingeworthy"
"Yes a bit over the top but it was a good story yet secretly wrapping all current societal issues in one TV show. "

"“We’re all sick, some of us are just better at hiding it.”
Can I just say Renée Zellweger is deliciously evil as one-woman powerhouse, unrivaled Anne Montgomery? She is as alluring as she is dangerously cutthroat and brutal. One look or word from her can slice, cut, and make you regret everything you just said or did. She drips with glamor and money and is enigmatically business-like, only operating smoothly and stealthily. Can command any room of the elite, wealthy, and powerful. Check, check, and check.
Gone is sweet, unassuming Bridget Jones, replaced with a hardened, tough, emotionally bruised woman ready to go after everything she wants. She doesn’t go down without a fight, in fact this ruthlessly cruel femme fatale strikes deals and bargains, stopping at nothing or no one.
Lisa and Sean’s entire future in fact hedges precariously on Anne’s good-will, that could or could not be here to stay, and deep pockets. Lisa is in charge of a medical start-up company, which could save lives, but while she certainly doesn’t lack ambition lacks funds to get it fully operational. After her ongoing string of bad luck, in swoops Anne, who gives Lisa the chance of a lifetime, funding and investing in her company, on one condition: she and Sean sign NDA’s and Anne gets to spend one fateful night with Sean, which won’t be breathed about after the fact on his part. They agree to it after some equivocation, not knowing quite what they’re in for. The story only takes from here and goes some pretty brilliant, riveting places that leave you to question and wonder what it’s like to live a lie and later come to discover the truth.
