"Honestly, I watched this show in the early days of Netflix and I was still young. But I still enjoyed it. It's completely absurd and the message they try to portray is always in your face, but it's fun.
The kids turn into dinosaurs after being contaminated by a billionaire dumping ooze into nature. Yeah I bet you can guess that message now. They really try to throw nature matters in your face. And for the time that tracks.
Now, the show itself is fun and keeps you entertained. The crazy dinosaur element makes things unique. The plot is also fun, thanks to a good villain and mentor. Both of course, having a history.
Now the plot. It give really hard power ranger vibes. Except instead of morphing into superheroes they morph into dinosaurs. They have to stop the villain and have the help of a mentor to guide and of course finance them. She does her job well and it makes the dynamic a good one. Sure if the villain didn't always think like a kid show villain he could probably figure things out easier, but that's to be expected.
Each character also has their own outstanding trait which makes them predictable but as the show goes on they dive deeper into it and pleasantly surprise you. Both Buzz and Karusso who I never cared for I started to love after their highlight episodes. Buzz with the dinner and Karusso with his feminine side. It made me like characters I hate and that's hard to do for a kid show. I commend it on that.
I promise you this show will surprise you. Whether it's the first time they really meet Veloci, the way certain things Go Dino, or even the families of the characters coming into play. You'll be surprised at least once.
A fun kids show with a great message and interesting story. It gives vibes of shows people love while still doing its own thing. I only wish it had more seasons."
