Murphy is a flawed and irreverent woman who just happens to be blind and is the only “witness” to the murder of her drug-dealing friend, Tyson. When the police dismiss her story, she sets out with her dog, Pretzel, to find the killer while also managing her colorful dating life and the job she hates at Guiding Hope, the guide-dog school owned by her overprotective parents.

"Great, suspenseful series with a new twist always around the corner. I feel like the first season was more comedic and lighthearted, but that eventually died down as things got more serious. Great actors, especially Murph, who portrays being blind in an interesting way. However, she does go a bit over the top to figure out Tyson’s killer, which was hard to watch."
"I have been recommended this show so many times and I finally watched it. ***SPOILERS AHEAD!***Absolutely not ok with Max’s fate. Loathe Josh, I was totally cool with her murdering him in theory but once it came down to it… I wish she didn’t. They could’ve twisted it differently to have him go to jail or something. Jess…I felt she wasn’t portrayed correctly. I love Felix and I felt for him when he fell in love with Murphy…and for a minute when Max was hooking up with Felix’s sister I wanted Murphy to be with Felix. But I got over it, just like Max & Murphy did. I am so mad he died. I love a good unhappy ending, they stick with you longer, but this isnt that kind of show!👹. There was too much humor in the show and too many dips in Murphy’s character for it to end like it did, in my opinion. I’m almost as ****** as I was about the way they ended this as the way they ended one of my favorite crime with humor series, Dexter. It wasn’t true to the characters I felt. Honestly…it felt rushed and I’m not surprised they canceled it. Still, I’m also insanely mad they canceled it because they could’ve and SHOULD HAVE kept going with the story line. If they even had a hint that the shoe would be cancelled…why end it this way? No closure, anywhere. I mean we should’ve gotten closure on every character, like Murphy’s parents, Jess, Gene, Chelsea…etc. I’m so mad. They even set up a little side love for Felix with Jimmy McKay’s niece…what happened with that!? There should’ve been closure in some way. Idk I’m so upset I can’t function but I feel it’s worth mentioning that I’m rarely satisfied with a tv show’s ending. The journey is always better than the destination. I don’t regret watching this. I just became overly emotionally attached to the characters and it made the ending hurt!"
