"I gave up on this series after the first episode. They hardly show anything at all during the initial invasion. Basically everything is implied and I wasn't willing to dedicate my time to 24 episodes that I'm sure was going to be a disappointment. It did make me nostalgic for the Tom Cruise 2005 movie, so I rewatched that instead... And that one is better than I initially gave it credit for... But this TV series is 2/10"

"Just started watching and so far season 1 was good. I liked that it doesn't take place in the USA. It has a slow build but I really enjoyed that and the fact that its not all rushed helps to take it all in. I was pleasantly surprised that it was very different to the Tom Cruise movie. The way it was filmed is artistic and the scenic shots were beautiful. Ash is my favorite character so far. "
