"What I like most about this series is that it shows the Chinese culture that surrounds the legend and reality of the Mogwai, or Gremlin. There is an actual lore behind these tiny creatures, which is explored in a fun way. The plot is about the adventures of the family and especially their 12 year old son who finds and befriends a Mogwai. He desperately wants to find its homeland, and meets a sinister man who gets in his way. If you are looking for the silliness of the Gremlin movie, you won't find it here. This series is completely different, and runs parallel to any movies. A second season is now airing weekly on Max Streaming."
"This show isn't the greatest. I think I only finished it because I was curious about the story behind Gizmo. The story has something there, but they made it as kiddy as possible with adult humour mixed in. For example a guy gets his finger bit off and there is no blood. They don't even bandage it up. I think as a 7 year old I would of loved this. As an adult it's just egh 🤷🏻♂️"
"This was pretty good. The animation is unique and it walks the fine line of being for kids while keeping the level of violence you'd expect from the original Gremlins movie. "
