"This book was enjoyable. Slow to start. REALLY slow.

And it’s so formulaic. Just about everything that occurs in this book is…standard.

1. H and h hate each others, well more like h hates H. H doesn’t realize h is in existence outside of acting together.
2. Theater manager and H’s agent craft half-cocked plan to have H and h pretend to be in a relationship to improve ticket sales (lmfao ok then)
3. H and h attend social events and things and act poorly (ironic) like they’re in a relationship
4. h gets terribly terribly sick. H becomes a mother hen and starts to show signs of possessiveness.
5. H does nice thing with no prompting from h, h decides to have sex with H. This is such a standard plot device. And it’s so un-empowering lmfao.
6. After their first encounter, suddenly love. Well not suddenly, but also definitely suddenly lmfao
7. h gets sexually assaulted by smarmy older gentleman and H saves the day.
8. BETRAYAL! h accidentally lets secret out that H has kept for years and years. He told her because love is stupid and blind.
9. After barely any groveling (and I barely care about groveling) H just forgives h…which is cool but man, wtf.
10. Books end in marriage. Who didn’t see that coming? lol

Short book, missed a lot of development opportunities. But better than maybe the last five I’ve read, so there’s that."
"Love love love this book. Believable enemies to lovers"
