"Easy and quick novella in the “Wilde’s of Lindow Castle” series. I love a hero who’s instantly in love after seeing “her” from across the room, especially when he takes the initiative to pursue her singlehandedly. I also love that the heroine (Ophelia) wasn’t so sure at first and took her time to warm up to the hero (Hugo). Bonus points for showing a very involved father in a historical time period because we know that was extremely rare in those days.

The second novella in this book “Storming the Castle” was very enjoyable as well. I like the fact that she knew what she wanted and wasn’t willing to settle with her fiancé, even if she was going to start a scandal and potentially ruin her marriage prospects."
