"3.5⭐<br/><br/>I have mixed feelings on The Birthday Girl. I loved some things about it, and then really didn't care for others. I think it was a really fun idea, and my attention was held the whole time I was reading, but it tried too hard to be twisty. Some of it was predictable and just felt over-the-top, but I can say that I wasn't bored while I was reading this book. I wanted to know what was going on the whole time. If you just need a quick weekend read and want a light thriller, this would be a good one to pick up. I didn't really find anything new here, though, so it might not be the best picked for seasoned thriller fans. That being said, I was entertained, and would try another book from this author."
