I read this book probably... 8 years ago? And I liked it at the time, but now looking back on it it just feels like every other YA novel that was released at the time (hunger games, divergent, etc) The concept of Violet's "ability" is super interesting, but the romance is stale to say the least. Its your typical "oh I have a crush on the guy I've been friends with for years 🥺" kind of trope."
