A Good Morning America Buzz PickOne of Amazon's Best Romances of November! Two exes wake up together with wedding bands on their fingers—and no idea how they got there. They have just one New Year’s Eve at the end of 1999 to figure it out in this big-hearted and nostalgic rom-com from New York Times bestselling author Allison Winn Scotch. When college sweethearts Frankie and Ezra broke up before graduation, they vowed to never speak to each other again. Ten years later, on the eve of the new millennium, they find themselves back on their snowy, picturesque New England campus together for the first time for the wedding of mutual friends. Frankie’s on the rise as a music manager for the hottest bands of the late ’90s, and Ezra’s ready to propose to his girlfriend after the wedding. Everything is going to plan—they just have to avoid the chasm of emotions brought up when they inevitably come face to face. But when they wake up in bed next to each other the following morning with Ezra’s grandmother’s diamond on Frankie’s finger, they have zero memory of how they got there—or about any of the events that transpired the night before. Now Frankie and Ezra have to put aside old grievances in order to figure out what happened, what didn’t happen...and to ask themselves the most troubling question of all: what if they both got it wrong the first time around?

"⭐⭐⭐/5. I loved the overall plot of the book, I do agree with the other reviews that the good majority of the book is just them fighting/arguing. It also would randomly go back in time to their college days (to build on the characters relationship) but a lot of it didn't feel relevant. Cut out the extras, expand on the drunk flashbacks, and tone down the arguments and easily would have been a 5/5. 2/7."
"Remember when you watched the Hangover for the first time and it was funny, minus the stupid plot about Allen and his grandmother’s engagement ring that he gave to a stripper instead of his girlfriend? Well this book is the same plot as Allen’s side story, minus the stripper it’s the exact same. Such a disappointment. "

"I enjoyed the audiobook of this one because imo, Julia Whelen gives life into the most mediocre books. <br/><br/>The banter was great and I loved the idea two exes waking up together after not remembering anything from the prior evening. <br/><br/>My only issue is that I prefer books set over time and this book takes place in only a day. <br/><br/>3 stars for the story—4.5 stars for the narration. <br/>"
"Unlikable characters. 95% of the book is them just fighting and hating on each other."

"3.5 stars<br/>I got this book from as a giveaway from good reads!<br/>I really did enjoy the book and I have never read anything like it before. In a lot of ways it reminded me of being a movie because the whole book takes place over one day minus the flash back. I really enjoyed the main characters and the banter between the characters was good. The one thing that was hard for me was the flashbacks as I sometimes had a hard time telling if what I was reading was the past or present as it switched over randomly at least it felt that way to me. Overall super cute and super different but also dragged on a little too much for me."
