Cocaine Shark

"I'm giving this movie two stars for reasons that have nothing to do with the acting, and I use the term 'acting' loosely. The two stars are for some pretty decent drone footage edited into the movie as well as certain dark imagery and videos obviously taken from the internet, but used well. Also, the background music was fair, and the only consistent thing in the entire movie. The cast were obviously friends, family, or co-workers that used their own homes and businesses as the movie locations. The cast was so small that the 'actors' were used again in scenes in which their faces were not shown. There was product placement in many of the scenes that may have helped supplement their shoestring production budget. The production also saved money because the only makeup used was on the paper maché shark that lurked in the water, and sometimes on land. The lead character playing the detective only had one dimension; annoying and snarky. The so-called plot surrounds a street drug made by thugs made from the glands of sharks that gives the user the strength of a shark, along with strange hallucinations. The pace of the movie is achingly slow and extremely boring. At times, I would press the pause button to see how far in the movie I was, and I was shocked to see that I had more left to watch! 🙄 My guess is this movie was made as a college thesis to show how, step by step, friends could make a terrible low budget shark movie, but actually try to take it seriously. 😩 I would rather watch an early George Romero movie, because at least I'll know there will be some genuine comedy along the way. Don't forget to add this movie to the Truth or Dare game, play with someone you really hate, and dare them to do something torturous and embarrassing, like watching this movie in one sitting just like I did! WATCH THIS IF YOU DARE!! 🤯🤯😳😂😂"

"Hot off the heels of Cocaine Bear 🐻. My god, I didn’t actually watch this but I just watched the trailer and that’s why it gets 1 star. Even worse, also on Tubi is another Cocaine Bear rip off called Cocaine Cougar that actually got a higher IMDb rating then this 🤣🤣🤣. Ahhhhh.....the things people waste money on trying to get rich 🙄."
