"The 1,000th film I’ve ever seen!!! I have been searching for the weirdest, most intriguing movie I can find for this special occasion. Mister Lonely did NOT disappoint. A strange yet somehow straightforward story with plenty of goofy scenes (nuns skydiving with bicycles and the Pope crying in a bathtub were my favorites) that also reflects on the complexity of the human condition and our search for meaning in life. It reassures us that everyone is on this journey of self-discovery."
