"This glorious, beyond romantic story begins a festive series that follows the lives and loves of different workers at a Christmas tree farm. It is incredibly endearing and captivating beyond belief. This particular book in the series chronicles the life of Stella, the owner, and her relationship with her best friend, Luka. Stella pretends that she and Luka are a couple that own the Christmas tree farm together to make the farm have even more of a romanticized appeal for a contest to win money and more publicity since she is struggling behind the scenes to keep the farm running. Little does she know just how real everything will become. For one, owning the farm is very near and dear to Stella’s heart since she has memories of going as a girl. She wants to preserve all the wonder and love associated with her childhood, but she is also in the in-between phase of her relationship with Luka that could easily be taken to an even greater, more intimate level with the slight switch of a button. Stella and Luka’s burgeoning love is special and the kind that takes you to the end of the world and then some with its incredible magnetism and reliability. It is everything you could want and ask for, building over time as these two have a continued, distinct pull to each other. A longing only satisfied with touch and the relief of reciprocity after so painfully long. The urgency is there to make their love real and out in the open. I was awash with the very cozy, sweet nature of the story, which is reminiscent of all the beauty of Christmas: the twinkling fairy lights, smell of piney fir trees, and richness of love bedecking the halls. It was filled with all the right amounts of spice and escapist magic to make me eager to read the rest of the books in the series after this one."

"This is such a cute and heartfelt book! Between the quirkiness of the small town and the Christmas tree farm (Christmas tree farm!) to the love and depth of Stella and Luka’s relationship, I love this story. It includes all of my favorite tropes like friends to lovers, fake dating, small town, etc. A great read all around, especially for the holidays!"

"This was one of the cutest Christmas romances I've read so far. I loved this book so much, like I'm genuinely thankful no one saw me reading beacuse the way I was grinning and kicking my feet. Giggling all happy was embarrassing. lol I loved so many things about this book the romance duh but the whole cast of characters to was just even more sweet and the atmosphere was on point for me the the the tree farm had all the Christmas feels it was very cozy along with the small town vibes you feel from all these cute towns people It absolutely gave stars hollow from the Gilmore girls, our main characters are so incredibly likeable they are best friends to lovers and on top of that some fake dating literally couldn't have been more perfect .You could tell how much they actually cared for each other. It wasn't just about lust which makes it feel more more believable and realistic to me and, oh my god, the tension please, I could not. It was a bit cheesy in some parts but like in the best way possible. "

"This book was really cute! Perfect cute holiday romance. Luka and Stella's relationship was adorable and sweet. Even the spice was full of sweetness and love and it was perfect. All the characters in this book were great. I went in only planning to read the first book just as a little holiday read, but now I'm excited to read the other two characters books. "

"🎄🎄🎄🎄/5 it was cute. Stella was a little intolerable throughout the book however I let that slide because she was healing from trauma. The romance was a very slow burn but was sweet. Luka was the sweetest and most caring person and Beckett and Lucy made the book worth reading"
