"This is probably my least favorite of The Wayward Children series so far. There just isn't as much development in the plot and the story fell a little flat for me. I enjoyed the characters and such but this book felt the least high stakes I guess and I'm a little sad that the conflict was so anticlimactic. I know that I still love the series but since all the books are soooo different from each other it's not surprising that one of them finally didn't click with me."
