""When you fall, we'll catch you."

3.5⭐

The Herd was my first Andrea Bartz book, and it was a pretty fun read! It has an interesting and mysterious setup, and I couldn't wait to see what happened.

I occasionally got mixed up between the characters, but it ended up being fine. The individual voices weren't very distinct.

I figured out who the villain was pretty early on, so that kind of sucked. I didn't have all the reasoning figured out, though, so at least there's that. While I had some issues with this book, I did really enjoy reading it. I liked the setting a lot, and I wish it would have gone a little deeper."
"Cute, kept my attention. Had no problem putting down and picking up months later though…

Started reading the physical copy and got bored quickly. The audiobook made it a quick easy entertaining read.

Eleanor is everything. Married to the man of her dreams, a feminists, rich, and successful. She had a close girl gang and everyone wants to be her. Until she disappears. You find out things aren’t what they seemed. People think she ran off but she was actually dead. Sisters Katie and Hanna try to solve it for their friend. Turns out the other friend Mickey did it. Elenor had stolen Mickey’s idea and that idea is what made Eleanor rich and everything g her brand is. Mickey never said anything because when they were younger and on a drugs one night a girl with them fell in the pool and died. Eleanor’s parents covered it up. Eleanor told Mickey she’d tell everyone and they’d believe Eleanor."
