"Aussie noir: A young girl goes missing in backwater Australia, then is found dead a short time later. The case rips open the town, exposing liars, cheaters, druggies and the seamy side of town. Two time lines: one before the girl’s disappearance, filled with kids, school and parents, and one after the girl’s disappearance, filled with detectives, suspicions and lies. Listened on audio book."
"Small town where everyone is familiar with each other. There is a missing girl, and everyone has secret to hide, or do they? In small towns, your neighbors know more than you think. Just perfect amount of character development, the parts are moving and shifting twist, the end is unexpected. As a cop, I find anything related to law enforcement investigations inaccurate and hard to read, this one was well researched. Great book!!!"
