""Now then, if you get the sudden urge to start trusting someone, be smart and do away with it."

Mister Tender's Girl is a solid thriller, and I enjoyed reading it very much. It moves quickly, and is such an intriguing story. I was hooked from the beginning, and stayed up way later than I intended so I could finish it.

This was almost a 5⭐ for me, but I had two issues. The first is the ending. I can get behind the identity of the villain, but I feel like there was little to no suspense or mystery in the reveal. For me, the whole book was so exciting, and then the big reveal just felt kind of bland.

My other issue was the treatment of mental health in this book. Many of the characters in the book have some form of mental illness, but it was almost like some of them were acceptable, and some of them weren't.

I was hooked from the beginning, and I thoroughly enjoyed the suspense of this book. This is an addictive page-turner, I would love to read more from Carter Wilson!"
