"The Hookup Plan was a perfect conclusion to this series! London and Drew were so cute together and complimented each other’s strengths/weaknesses perfectly. It was amazing to see them grow together as a couple and this was definitely the spiciest book in the series. I did think a couple topics were left unfinished by the end of the book though. What happened to Dr. Coleman and the situation he put the hospital in? I was sad we never saw karma come around and get him! Also there was no discussion about/with April setting up the meeting between London and her dad. I felt like that was also a little unresolved. Overall, a great conclusion to this romance series. I’m sad to see this group of women go!

Thank you to Edelweiss for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review."

"Farrah Rochon is one of my favorite romance authors and I loved the prior two books in the Boyfriend Project series.
⠀
I had high expectations going into this book, and as expected I did love the couple and their shared history and rekindling during a HS class reunion.
⠀
I found the careers of each character a bit too far fetched to me, given their prospective ages and the salaries did not align up with today’s current societal norms per career.
Given that, it was a bit too Greys Anatomy for me in the unrealistic world of how we assume surgical residents have any saying power amongst a Hospital Board. *This is my own personal reflection and many probably will not notice*
⠀
3.5 stars for me, but I still highly recommend this book.
⠀
⠀
"
"The Hookup Plan was a cute romance novel that also talked about emotional and familial issues.
We have London our FMC, who is a successful, talented, intelligent doctor, and Drew our sweet mc who is also a successful hedge fund person and auditor.

London and Drew have been rivals since high school, 15 years later they meet again at their school reunion and they kick off their rivalry again. They hook up after the reunion and think that they won't see each other again but drew ends up in the hospital because his company is currently auditing the hospital.

London is ****** off that Drew is working in the same place as her and because the hospital may be in jeopardy but because of health issues and needing to decompress she continues her reoccurring hookups with Drew even while claiming not to like him lol.

London and Drew were both strong characters, their banter was good, their moments had some spice and I loved their hookups and how they slowly became best of friends. Drew had fallen in love with London about 10 years ago and was afraid to let her know because she didn't want the same thing at the moment. I found it kind of sweet that he was fine with hooking up with her as long as he got to be with her.

London was our overachieving fmc that had grown up with so much pressure on her because of her father. She has become very good at what she does but has a really strained relationship with he dad. I loved how at the end of the book she didn't reconcile with her day because some people are just not worth it.

Overall this book showed the development between rivals and how two humans develop feelings and find their other half and someone they can rely on. There are emotions, fun moments, good banter, and smart characters."
