Secrets prove deadly in book two of the Burn for Burn trilogy from New York Times bestselling author of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (soon to be a major motion picture!), Jenny Han, and New York Times bestselling author of The List, Siobhan Vivian.Lillia, Kat, and Mary had the perfect plan. Work together in secret to take down the people who wronged them. But things didn’t exactly go the way they’d hoped at the Homecoming Dance. Not even close. For now, it looks like they got away with it. All they have to do is move on and pick up the pieces, forget there was ever a pact. But there is something seriously wrong with sweet, little Mary. If she can’t control her anger, she’s sure someone will get hurt. Mary understands now that it’s not just that Reeve bullied her—it’s that he made her love him. It seems once a fire is lit, the only thing you can do is let it burn…

"*WARNING THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS* Well, that was eventful lol. It was better than the first one, and I'm glad it starts off with a few weeks i believe after the 1st one. I'm just going to say this right off the bat, but I really don't like Mary. She is my least favorite character lol. I tried giving her a chance but I just wanted to skip over her chapters, they were only boring because I didn't care for her lol. I seriously think these girls need some serious, hardcore counseling. Because what they did and continued to do was plain wrong. They could've left everything alone but no they had to go and mess up Reeve some more. But lillia got karma lol, she fell in love with him. Mary was creepy to be honest, she just kept watching them and I get it, she still wanted a bigger revenge thing for him but come on, get a life. Oh wait! She's dead lol. That was a pretty good twist, but I still think this series didn't need that element in it. Kat was honestly pretty loyal to them, especially with the pictures(yes it covered her too but still). I would like to know how Reeve found out about the whole drugging thing, I'm very curious. But they are cute together and poor Alex but hey, there's Kat! I feel bad for Ren, she didn't have to die but she did kind of deserve it. Either way this was a good book and I can't wait to read the finale!!"

"I gave this book four stars because while I think it does deserve five for the amount of engagement it had but I, for the life of me, cannot figure out why Reeve would tell Mary to “go f**k yourself” and then also Mary STILL LIKES HIM.

Edit: So yeah I figured out why. Post- book 3"
