"More like 4.5 stars. Holy cow! I was a bit weary of reading a Christie novel because the last one I read (The Secret Adversary) was not that great. Plus, I consider Christie's novels to fall in the smart category and I don't do well with smart books. But this book was something else!

Oh, my goodness. I was baffled. I thought I knew who it was, but then someone else seemed to be the murderer and then there was another clue, another herring, and another twist. At the end I was pretty sure I knew who it was, and it wasn't!

I definitely recommend Poirot novels when reading Agatha Christie. The man's a genius.

I recommend Agatha Christie if you like mystery novels (or just perfectly developed plots), she is a fantastic writer."
