"Well, the idea behind the story made it worth reading, but once I got into the meat of the story it resembled Divergent quite a bit. And maybe bits of others too, but I haven't read a lot of the big ones out there. What made me interested was Zypher (though this too has a divergent feel too, and if you read it you'll see it). His situation is interesting. What the entire novel is about. The rest? The rest was too much like other dystopians I've read or just not interesting enough.

If you like Divergent, you still might like this. If you find yourself annoyed with books that are very similar to others, maybe you should skip this one. I find dystopians hard. It takes quite a bit to get my interest and then it takes a great story to hold it. I'm not sure this sounding almost like Divergent was enough for me to read the next whenever it comes out. I was a bit let down when I realized how much it read like Divergent. So, time will tell if I continue or not."
