"3.5 stars. Can't really give this review without spoilers. Honestly this moved around way to much for my taste and yes I know it's short stories but everytime the audiobook paused Geralt was in a different place a different time and not always in sequence. I do enjoy his character and watching it build up into something grand.

The parts I loved the most was when you met his mother and Ciri. But most of the short stories didn't seem to really matter just mundane things happening. Maybe they will come to light when I read Blood Elves.

I think I will keep reading though because the intrigue of Geralt and Ciri is too great. I need to know their story. I was happy to read these shorts, it shed light on many things and how destiny can not be thwarted.

Oh p.s. If I hear lilac and gooseberries one more time in the next audiobooks I might just turn into a monster and find a Witchers silver sword to impale myself on......"
"Listen, I love these books, love the characters love the world…but if you can’t write any woman be it a side or main or passing character without commenting on her attractiveness or her boobs that’s bad writing. I’d give this 5 stars if it weren’t for the sheer eye rolling I did every other page when someone casually slaps a woman’s butt or when a woman upon meeting Geralt one time immediately wants to sleep with him (every single one) or when an otherwise complex female character is whittled down to being vain and only caring about her attractiveness (not because she wants to be attractive for herself, but always for the benefit of men or in order to manipulate men). Play a game while reading this and see when the author introduces a woman—any woman, be she 60 or literally 12—and see how long it takes for her attractiveness or lack of it to be brought up, every single time."
"When I tell you I loved this book, I mean I LOVED this book. This book exceeded all of my expectations and then some!!"

"Sword of Destiny is a series of short stories similar to it's predecessor, The Last Wish

I felt this collection was more entwined together but still had the feel of Geralt going on 'quests' and doing what witchers do.

While I enjoyed this one a little more, I had the hardest time getting through the first story, The Bounds of Reason. It's the longest one and felt a bit dry. However, after powering through, the rest just flew by. I would've gave 5 stars otherwise."
