"Dnf this book 50% of the way through. Love Geralt and Ciri didn't care for much else. The plot was choppy never knew where I was or who was talking. 90% of things going on didn't seem to really matter to the story. I really wanted to see where these two were headed but don't want to drag my dead legs through the mud to get there."
"Blood of Elves is a fantastic tale that kickstarts the beginning of the main storyline for the Witcher series! While its pacing comes and goes in waves throughout each of the book’s hefty seven chapters, Sapkowski easily rectifies this through fantastic world building, intriguing lore and great character interaction that enhances the experience of this dark fantasy world! 8.75/10"
"This had its ups and downs but I enjoyed the dynamics between characters. That being said, Triss is the most annoying character I have ever read."
