What happens when you're stalked by Death? You fall in love with him, of course. Pagan Moore doesn't cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him. Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers she often saw walking through walls were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn't let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he's dead. Not only does he not go away when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done. He speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What she doesn't realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul she is falling in love with is not a soul at all. He is Death and he's about to break all the rules.

"Very good concept for a book listened the to the audio, not a huge fan of the narrator but she wasn’t the worst I’ve ever heard. "

"Bueno, será que ya no tengo la edad para enamorarme apasionadamente de los personajes jóvenes en las novelas jajaja pero me a gustado mucho, no era lo que en realidad esperaba, pero no me quejo, un libro un tanto inconstante en la acción porque hay partes muy muy fuertes (por decirlo de alguna manera) y luego otras muy aburridas.
Otro libro dónde lo más importante es el personaje masculino, pero muy entretenido."
"I would like to start this off with a big "WHAT?!" to that ending! I'm happy that this will be the start of a series (or at least get a few books), but it left me stunned. Now I am itching for the next book and I'll have to wait. Unfortunately.

So, the book was really good. I liked it. Although I spend an unhealthy amount of time fretting for Leif. He seems like a really nice guy and I had this urge to slap Pagan upside the head a few times with her disregard for him sometimes. I've said it a hundred times, so I'll say it again... I don't like love triangles. At all. I always end up feeling bad for the one that seems to not measure up in the eyes of the heroine when he should.

I liked this unusual soul in the book. Although I didn't like his name. Dank doesn't make me think of rock star hotness. More like mildew. But really, while I didn't like the name, it didn't hinder the story. Just a weird personal thing, really. The next book should be really interesting. There was a lot that happened in this, especially towards the end, that I can't wait to read about in the next book and see how it all works out.

I definitely recommend this. However, if you are not a fan of cliffhangers, I would suggest waiting for the next book, but definitely read it. Great writing."
