Agatha Christie
The tranquillity of a cruise along the Nile was shattered by the discovery that Linnet Ridgeway had been shot through the head. She was young, stylish, and beautiful. A girl who had everything . . . until she lost her life. Hercule Poirot recalled an earlier outburst by a fellow passenger: "I'd like to put my dear little pistol against her head and just press the trigger." Yet in this exotic setting nothing is ever quite what it seems.

"Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I would've liked this more had I not spoiled it for myself by watching the movie and the BBC Suchet episode previously. (This was before I tried to read the series in order and what prompted me to read the series in the first place.)Not the novel's fault but it left me kinda bored since I knew the plot and once you know the murderer it's obvious. (Though some are still baffling and I think impossible to solve.)
A rare chance when Poirot is without Hastings and I wish there were more without him, I always enjoy them more.
