"<strong>Slight let down</strong><br/><br/>3.5/5 stars after the first book this felt alittle stagnant. There was so much of the same argument and flip flopping between her mom and dad with going back to school it was becoming annoying. I felt we should’ve seen Jakes point of view because it would’ve added alittle more depth to see his trials and tribulations. I also feel we should’ve seen atleast a blip of him doing his physio therapy to help add alittle more drama with football scholarships rather than relying on Brooks parent situation. I would still recommend this duet."
