This Omnibus Edition collects the five Wool books into a single volume. The first Wool story was released as a standalone short in July of 2011. Due to reviewer demand, the rest of the story was released over the next six months. My thanks go out to those reviewers who clamored for more. Without you, none of this would exist. Your demand created this as much as I did. This is the story of mankind clawing for survival, of mankind on the edge. The world outside has grown unkind, the view of it limited, talk of it forbidden. But there are always those who hope, who dream. These are the dangerous people, the residents who infect others with their optimism. Their punishment is simple. They are given the very thing they profess to want: They are allowed outside.

"Best to go into this one blind trust me. I found the writing to be very atmospheric. I could fully picture these silos though maybe not the scale but that was the fault of my own human brain. Of course you have a bad guy who thinks he is doing good. Let's just say I don't agree that ignorance is ever good. The truth will out as they say.

The characters were flushed out well. The intrigue as to what was happening and why kept me on the edge of my seat. Even the title is a little clue waiting to be found. And, to my great surprise, I very much enjoyed the ending. Why was I surprised? Can't say. And get ready, there was plenty of that helpless feeling I so hate."
"I am into dystopian novels - this was def one of my favorites of all time."

"These books. I am really bad at reviews. It all started with Wool. And then I was hooked. Read and read them. So should you. Very engaging, character driven with lots of action. Awful yet super believable (esp now) post-apocalyptic scenario that really made me anxious and engaged. I loved the whole series - but it was Wool, first book, that really hooked me. Read it."
"This is a fun dystopian novel. "

"Incredible.

The world building. The plot. The characters. The twists and turns. Absolutely incredible.

After watching season one of Silo, I immediately needed more information about this dystopian world and what would become of protagonist, Juliet. And here I am, a 15 hour audiobook later, having more questions than answers.

This series has me in a chokehold. If anyone else has read it please reach out to me because I need to talk to someone about it. Please and thank youuuu."
