"The illustrations where eerie but just ok. On the other hand the color pallet was quite nice and the cover was stunning. None but one of the stories unsettled me. I just felt as if there could have been more or even a connection between the 5. Nothing gripped me the plots felt shallow. I think if they were to have rhymed maybe it would have brought it up a notch."
"Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thoughts: I really enjoyed this graphic novel. These were just quick little snippets that can all be read in one sitting. I enjoyed the art in the book. The use of red, blue and black constantly just gave the stories a feeling of dread in my opinion. There was something about the short stories which lent to the feeling of continuance. There were no happy endings in this stories and no heroes. When the stories ended we know things weren't tied up in a pretty little bow and this made me love it more. My favorite story in this graphic novel was the second one, 'A Lady Has Cold Hands'. It was spine chilling and so great! I would definitely recommend.

Side note: If you've read this please help me to understand the story, 'His Face All Red'. I'm still pondering that one."
"A haunting collection of short horror stories. It is a beautiful work of art that left me wanting more. These stories tend to be more psychological, haunting and open ended with only occasional gore."

"This was a quick read, but I adored the art. The stories were appropriately creepy for Spooktober, but it was the gorgeous illustrations that kept me.

A Lady’s Hands are Cold was by far my favorite, but all the stories nestled right in the part of my brain that’s always whispering that there is someone right behind me...*shudders*"

"I really enjoyed the last story. The other ones were okay, but the endings sucked and were confusing. I hate open endings, I would much rather have the endings shown and not left to imagination."
