"Goblins, vampires, and werewolves oh my!!! 22 year-old Alexandra is a half breed member of the Royal Guard living in London, England in an alternate history, steampunk extravaganza. The Black Plague instead of killing everyone made some into plagued aristocrats which took the form of werewolves or vampires. The goblins that plague London's underground are also plagued but are feared by aristos and halvies (half human, half aristo) alike. Alexandra goes to them to locate her missing sister Dede only to uncover traitorous insurectionists, betrayal of the ones closest to her and her secret origins that could potentially get her killed. Fans of steampunk, Kady Cross and Gail Carriger will be delighted by this sexy, exciting and dangerously entertaining read! Highly recommended. 16+ for some sexual content and offensive language."
