"This was my 4th, and least favorite, book by this author. The first 2/3rds of this book was amazing, with the last feeling like it was written as a YA book. The whole "conveniently working out by pure luck" was a bit cheesy. Definitely not my favorite, but not the worst sci-fi book I've read. 3 out of 5 stars."
"This is the second book I’ve read written by Darcy Coates and I can say I enjoyed the other one (Dead Lake) better. I love Coates writing with her creativity and details so no I won’t be given up on her bc of this one story. The story wasn’t terrible. I got into it during the first part then lost interest into the 3rd part and in the 4th but the 5th part got me back into it. I’m glad it had a happy ending for humanity though I kind of expected it would. I just think the plot wasn’t really for me but I loved the writing style and how Coates formatted the story into different parts involving different people and stations."
"super cool book! it was like i was watching a movie. the only thing i didn’t like was the switch up at the last little bit of the book. the ending felt kinda out of place and forced. i wish the ending wrapped back around to some previously introduced characters instead of introducing new ones every chapter all the way until the end.
