"I was slightly disappointed with the ending but it was because I knew what was going to happen but I didn't know the reasoning behind it. Now that I do, the ending was a bit lackluster for me. It was amazing getting see the green dragon and see him bonded and the new dragon's relationship with Eragon and Saphira but not so happy that Eragon is leaving forever. Kind of sucks!! I was hoping for a happily ever after for Eragon and I felt just a little depressed. Otherwise I was very happy with the way they ended up the war and how everyone else seemed to get their "happily ever after" except Eragon. I still loved the book but the ending left me feeling a little let down. Just saying..."

"I'm a big fan of Dune. As far as fantasy goes though I like the Dark Blade trilogy and the stormlight archive "

"The time has finally come. Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Brightscales have to finally face Galbatorix for the sake of Alagasia, for justice, for vengeance, for all whom they love and above all their freedom. Will they succeed? Will Murtagh and Thorn finally break the hold the king has over them? Will they prove to be friends or formidable foes at the end? All these questions and more get answered in this final installment. This was definitely one of the best books in the series and Christopher Paolini does an amazing job of wrapping it all up. It would be a lie if I said that I don't still have burning questions inside, however overall I am a content reader and happy to have finally seen the fate of the characters that I have rooted for so long and also sad to see them go.

If you are a fan of fantasy, great battles, the mystery of elves, the rock hard persona's of dwarves and above all the majestic aura of dragons then pick up this series. You will not be disappointed!"
