We have a lovely history baked into the prologue that sets the stage for angst and chemistry upon our FMC and MMC reuniting. I did not read the series set in this world decades before, but I intend to now. This was well written and easy to binge. Anticipating book 2. "

The author has previous books that are set in the same world, though I understand it isn’t necessary to read them to enjoy this series on its own. "
