"This collection of short stories was very good. I really enjoyed specifically Winter's prequel story and the epilogue story at the end. The epilogue story took me by surprise. Going into this book I expected it to be good but never did I think that I would end up with tears streaming down my cheeks. It is bittersweet that this series is complete but I am glad that the characters get to live in relative peace and quiet."
"Before i read Winter i decided to read all the side stories except for the epilogue to Winter. I enjoyed all the short stories. I love this series and it was fun to see all my favorite characters from before they made it to this point. My least favorite was The Little Android. It is a My Little Mermaid retelling set in the Lunar Chronicle world. It was good but the reason that i didn’t like it as much is because the characters didn’t appear in the main books and i wasn’t as interested in the story. All the ones i really liked were about characters that i followed through out the story even the characters i didn’t like as much like Scarlett and Wolf. It was interesting to hear their story. The story about Winter i didn’t like as much but it was because i haven’t had time to be attached to Winter yet. In the main series i enjoy whenever she’s in a scene. I don’t like reading in her point of view as much. Like in Scarlett’s point of view i like it that she seems like some crazy girl. When you read in Winter’s point of view she seems almost normal.

For the people that are planing to read this don’t expect to learn anything new. About everything that was mentioned in each story was mentioned at one moment in the series. There is no “wow i never know that”, moment. Though honestly i don’t care. I had a lot of fun reading every story."

"I adored these stories. The backgrounds of the main characters were fun little bits to go on another adventure with them, but before they met the rest of the main cast! The Little Android was a great little standalone story set in the TLC universe but without any of the main characters (aside from a cameo by Cinder). AND SCARLET AND WOLF’S WEDDING, EEEE!!! Great stories"

"I only wanted to read the epilogue since I read Glitches and the Queen's Army before and I can easy go back and read the others later. I would like to thank Marissa for doing the biggest fakeout ever dealing with Something Old, Something New. I’m honestly glad that it wasn’t couple that the fandom thought it was going to be but my second fave couple. So to me I was still happy as hell and felt that they would be the first couple to get married of the four."
