"This is the third book in the Finlay Donovan series and as expected, she and her sidekick Vero, have a knack for being in the wrong place at the right time to take down the bag guys. <br/>I gave the previous two books both 5 stars; however, this one didn’t hold the same spark as the other ones did for me. I found myself smiling a couple times, but there was no chortling on my end with this adventure. <br/>I’m still a fan of the series but this one fell flat for me and I will still look forward to the next book. <br/><br/>3.5 stars"

"I still love Finlay and the wacky crew of police, lawyers, and criminals she’s acquired, but this book felt a little cluttered compared to the last two. I don’t think I’m alone based on the drop in Goodread’s rating on this latest installment, but there is a chance for it to come back around with the next book! I’m still excited to see where this story goes, even though I feel like it’s running out of steam as far as the arc."
