"This book had an extremely slow start and I do think it tried a little hard to be Bridget Jones’ Diary (the constant smoking and weight talk were grating and unnecessary), but I do think it found its feet in the last half and I ended up liking it more than I'd expected. The characters are thinly drawn but lively and fun to read about, and I liked Sofia’s story arc."

"This book was really endearing, funny, and serious all at once. The characters were really relatable despite culture differences. I really enjoyed this read"
