"Everyone always wants a story from the others point of view. Well, that’s what you get with this one, mixed with a bit of present time. On one hand, I liked to hear Cas’s POV, but on the other, I was really hoping for more of the story itself. I am glad that she went back through everything because I had forgotten so much since reading the last book a year ago. I’m starting to wonder if I will remember all this by the time the next in the series comes out, and I’m not counting visions. I gave this a 3.5 star because I do love the story, but I wanted more of the present. I also didn’t think this gave you much additional insight into Cas’s character. It was more of the same. "

"Okay for some reason my comment deleted :,) what I said before is that this series isn’t going to be for everyone. As much as I love the story and characters, make sure you’re okay with NA themes, a MAJOR slowburn romance, and some gory details 😅 nonetheless, the romance is very fleshed out in this, as are the bonds and character banter. Still recommend highly to fantasy readers <3"

"This is a great series. I will say book 1 &2 I couldn’t stop reading. Book 3 was mostly sm*t and dialog so I had a much harder time getting thru it but the ending is just 🤤. Then book 4 back to being just an awesome read. It’s a great read tho of a sheltered and abused girl who breaks away from that and becomes something so much more. "
