It’s a room-mance for the books in this tender, steamy story about unexpectedly finding love and being brave enough to let it revise life’s narrative in the final book in the beloved Bergman Brothers series. Viggo Bergman, hopeless romantic, is thoroughly weary of waiting for his happily ever after. But between opening a romance bookstore, running a romance book club, coaching kids' soccer, and adopting a household of pets—just maybe, he’s overcommitted himself?—Viggo’s chaotic life has made finding his forever love seem downright improbable. Enter Tallulah Clarke, chilly cynic with a massive case of writer’s block. Tallulah needs help with her thriller’s romantic subplot. Viggo needs another pair of hands to keep his store afloat. So they agree to swap skills and cohabitate for convenience—his romance expertise to revive her book, her organizational prowess to salvage his store. They hardly get along, and they couldn’t be more different, but who says roommate-coworkers need to be friends? As they share a home and life, Tallulah and Viggo discover a connection that challenges everything they believe about love, and reveals the plot twist they never saw coming: happily ever after is here already, right under their roof.

"4/5⭐️ dual pov. I can’t believe the series is over!! Biggy and Tallulah are so sweet. Loved reading about a hopeless romance romance reader falling in love. As always with this series the characters were diverse. There was ADHD rep and Type 1 diabetes rep. I liked the realistic portrayal of falling in love. The forced proximity and the two mcs growing and reaching their goals together was also super sweet. I really wish there was more of the entire family in this one. They are showed up here and there but this being the last book I wanted as much of them as possible!! There was some spice in the book. It was a slower burn but some good moments! 1.5-2/5 spice level. This series is incredible! So many diverse and fun characters and heart warming love stories. Recommend the entire series!!"
"2.75 ⭐️ It pains me to give a Chloe Liese Bergman Brothers book less than 4 or 5 stars, but this just didn't hit like all the other books in this series...Viggo and Tallulah just felt like oil and water, he was almost too sweet/sunshiney and she was almost too mean/grumpy and I didn't feel their chemistry till the book was nearly over. They still had some cute moments, especially when the other Bergman's made appearances but I just wanted so much more of just them, that, or I would have liked to see Tallulah stop being grumpy sooner, cause she was almost too mean sometimes and it would kill the romance. "May the Bergmans live on forever!! I’m going to conveniently ignore the fact this is the last book in the series, as I certainly will be rereading this in years to come, but what a hell of a ride this one was! I loved Viggo and his penchant for romance from the minute he popped up on the pages of book 1, so I was so happy for him to finally have his moment in the flower field, so to speak (WINK WINK). Lula was a perfect foil (and I love a “reverse” to stereotypical grumpy/sunshine roles in novel, brava to the author!) and I truthfully enjoyed her arc more simply because I felt like it was authentic.

Once again, this was a loving and inclusive novel, true to Chloe Liese’s brand, and I can’t wait to see what beautiful characters she creates next!"

"This was a beautiful and sweet conclusion to the Bergmans series. I enjoyed reading Viggos and Tallulah's story so much, it was a good slow burn with lots of tension, longing, and book-loving goodness. Viggo Bergman is the last Bergman sibling without a relationship despite being obsessed with romance and love. He has always had a crush on Tallulah and gets her as a roommate as they both come into an agreement to mutually help each other. Viggo needs help opening his romance book store and Lula needs help with writing the romance aspect of her thriller book. They start rooming with each other and there is a lot of tension as they both want to avoid a friends-with-benefits situation.

I loved both Viggo and Lula, they were both so compelling and perfect opposites. Viggo is the sunshine, helper, knitter, and emotional romance-loving mmc while Lula is more grumpy, does not like HEAS, and has not had a good experience with relationships. Together they were so good and I liked how they interacted with each other and the other Bergmans. There are some spicy scenes towards the end after a good slow burn with a very nice ending that ties the series together so well. I'm going to miss this world but I'm ready to see what the author writes next.

Read if you like:
-Slow burns
- Opposites attracts
- Some steam
- Romance book loving mmc
- Diabetes rep

Rating 4.5/5"
