Writers, Authors, or anyone, what is the best writing advice you have ever gotten? I'm attempting to write a book, and everything I write seems bland, and I am losing motivation! Help!

So for those of you that have read the Throne of Glass and/or ACOTAR series (I loved both), how do you feel about Crescent City? No spoilers please!

Here are mine-World Building-Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. Love how descriptive he is about different cultures. Magic System-Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks. Love the magic system based on color spectrum. Dialog Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie. Character Gideon of Gideon the Ninth narrowly over Monza of Best Served Cold.

Is Bride Worth The Read? I’ve heard it’s interesting because it’s her first take on fantasy. Spice or language?

I really want to read Zodiac Academy but I can’t help but think it’ll be cheesy… can anyone give some insight?

What are your thoughts on Zodiac Academy? How clean is it? For the other Christians out there, would you read this? I need advice on if I should read it or not. Be honest!!

This book just took me on a wild ride…and it’s so spooky, twisty, and over the top…but it works. Hi! I’ve been wanting to read this series and was wondering if it was worth it. Also is there anything else I should know before reading it like multiple pov, any deaths in the book (without spoilers), etc.

I don’t think this is everyone’s cup of tea, but it is mine. A surreal, dreamlike story about a woman who runs a magical pawnshop, where people exchange choices for their peace of mind, and a man who mysteriously happens upon this pawnshop. When a choice escapes into the world it is up to the two of them to return it before the consequences catch up to them. It’s thrilling and dreamlike.

Has anyone read this series? Was it good? Are the characters well written? Any females that aren’t one dimensional love interests?

I’m on page 215 of This Woven Kingdom and am slightly confused/not quite into it but still interested. Does it get better?
