Topic: The Warbler
Has anyone heard of this book? I just got it from my library, it’s by the same author as The Spellshop, and reminds me of “Addie LaRue” and the “Inheritance of Orqidea Divina” (sorry about spelling). It’s magic realism, with small towns, mysterious curses, and cute characters.

So for those of you that have read the Throne of Glass and/or ACOTAR series (I loved both), how do you feel about Crescent City? No spoilers please!

Topic: A Fellowship of Bakers & Magic
Cute cozy fantasy that is one part fantasy adventure, one part Great British Bake-Off, and a dash of magic. Check out this cute story about a young woman who accidentally gets entered into a baking competition, and the friends who help her a long the way.

Is the Zodiac Academy worth reading? I like the bully romance but I hate the borderline physical a*use trope.

This book just took me on a wild ride…and it’s so spooky, twisty, and over the top…but it works. Very much inspired by “Frankenstein,” “Haunting of Hill House,” and “The island of Doctor Moreau,” this story picks up years after “House of Salt and Sorrows and follows Verity. Verity is hoping working on a new painting at a mysterious mansion will help her find belong. However, Verity, who just found out she can see things others can’t, can’t believe the gilded splendor, but what secrets lie beneat

Hi! I’ve been wanting to read this series and was wondering if it was worth it. Also is there anything else I should know before reading it like multiple pov, any deaths in the book (without spoilers), etc.

I don’t think this is everyone’s cup of tea, but it is mine. A surreal, dreamlike story about a woman who runs a magical pawnshop, where people exchange choices for their peace of mind, and a man who mysteriously happens upon this pawnshop. When a choice escapes into the world it is up to the two of them to return it before the consequences catch up to them. It’s thrilling and dreamlike.

Has anyone read this series? Was it good? Are the characters well written? Any females that aren’t one dimensional love interests?
