Alyssa said Meryl's in it for a blink of an eye, but do I recommend this movie? Hell yes! Jane Fonda and Vanessa Redgrave MAKE this film alluring. It's a bit sad, but if you're a Streep fan you've got to start from her start! 7/10

Alyssa said Can you believe this came before Sophie's Choice?? This was a TV mini-series. Young Streep proving she could be a dramatic actress. 7/10

Alyssa said Is Meryl in this a lot? No. But is it worth the watch? YES!!! This is one of the greatest Vietnam-era movies! It's riveting, it's revolting, it's dramatic!!! It's a great movie! 10/10

Alyssa said Not a fan of Woody Allen, but here we have a classic still. Not my favorite Streep Film by any means, but when you stan someone you watch them all- even if they're only in the movie for a few scenes. 1/10

Alyssa said I like political dramas, so I actually liked this film. There's plenty of drama and a bit of romance too. I wouldn't say that this movie had a lasting impression on me- as I don't remember too much about it. 5/10

Alyssa said Classic. Meryl won her first Oscar with this movie and she damn well deserved it too. This movie hit home hard. It was the movie that made me realize just how great of an actress Streep really is. I had a dog named Kramer- after this movie. 10/10

Alyssa said A romantic period film. I'm not crazy about this one, but I am a sucker for a good romance. 4/10 for mysterious looks.

Alyssa said If you've seen this...you're an OG. if you own this you're a super OG. I happen to be both. I can't tell you how many times I watched this just to hear Meryl sing ( this was pre mamma mia when I found this ). 8/10 - it's just the Alice in wonderland story.

Alyssa said Maybe the closest we will get to Meryl Streep in a horror film. I really liked this one- then again, I'm a horror fanatic. Suspense and thrills around every corner 7/10

Alyssa said One of the saddest films of all time ( in my opinion ). Anything about the Holocaust, though, is bound to be profoundly sad. This won Meryl her second Oscar and it was DAMN WELL DESERVED!! Her polish accent some-how mixed into her perfect German was TOO convincing! This movie will live on forever. It's important. It's profound. Watch it! 10/10

Alyssa said This movie is important! This movie, much like The China Syndrome ( Jane Fonda ) should have gotten more recognition! After all, it's a TRUE STORY of a REAL COVER UP! Watch this movie ( and The China Syndrome ) and never let anything like this happen again! ( I'm looking at you Cherynobal ) Bonus: Cher's in this! 10/10

Alyssa said And I did just that- fell in love... with this movie. It's so sweet and tender! A very feel-good romance! 10/10

Alyssa said This movie was hard to track down when I first watched it- but I finally did. I don't remember too much about it other than it's HOT. Definitely changed the tone for Streep movies by this point ( if you're watching in order ) 5/10

Alyssa said I had a farm in Africa...or so the movie goes. This movie is romantic! Robert Redford and Streep had some chemistry for sure! 8/10

Alyssa said This movie is a big mix of comedy, drama, and romance! It's a wild ride for sure. You've got your romance...and your heartburn ( cheesy, I know )... Honestly, watch it! Meryl's oldest, Mamie, is in it too.

Alyssa said Honestly, this movie is a bit depressing, which makes sense given the time period. Jack Nicholson and Streep are back at it again. Is it romantic? Not .... entirely? is it worth a watch... yes because it's something you haven't seen of Streep ( yet- if you're watching in order ) 5/10

Alyssa said A Cry in the Dark is a GREAT, but sadly a true story! Much like her polish accent in Sophie's Choice, if you didn't know this was Meryl Streep- you'd think this was a natural-born Australian actress! I won't give my thoughts on if I think the Dingo in fact took her baby, but watch and decide for yourself! 9/10

Alyssa said We don't stan a racists Roseanne Barr. Period. However, I still do like this movie because of Meryl ( obviously ). Honestly, this movie is a wild ride. It's goofy, it's funny, it's, at times, sexy... I give it 6/10

Alyssa said Based on the life of our late space mama, Carrie Fisher, this movie is a MUST!! It's funny, it's sad, it's romantic, and we get to hear Meryl sing ( again! ) 10/10 one of my faves!

Alyssa said Not me knowing every single word to this movie- including the opening song. This movie is campy and I'll continue to watch it foreverrrrrrr. ( if you know, you know ) 10/10 must watch

Alyssa said Honestly, when I tried to watch this I had to download it on my old desktop computer! It took two days to download! All because they stopped printing the movie! I don't remember too much about it other than I found the relationship to be a bit odd. Now that I own the movie I should go back and rewatch. I think It'd appreciate it more now than I did when I was in middle school! 8/10

Alyssa said THIS IS THE MOVIE THAT MADE ME STAN MERYL STREEP. I was on vacation with my family as a kid and when I watched this I was fixated on how amazing Meryl was in this movie! Gale is the woman in charge we all want!!! 10/10 FAVE

Alyssa said Because of this movie, I tried to teach myself how to play the violin! I still to this day do not know how! This movie gives you that good feeling ( music like The Freedom Writers ). 10/10

Alyssa said This movie broke my heart! I was oddly kinda freaked out by it too. I guess this was my first encounter with an A.I that wasn't chacha ( long before siri and alexa! ) 10/10

Alyssa said This movie is WILD! There are drugs, there are orchids, there's a lot of yelling, there's a lot of moments where you're biting your nails. 9/10

Alyssa said I don't think I watched all of this, but I did watch all of Meryl's parts. At the time I was much too young to understand the weight of this miniseries. I do, however, recognize the weight of it and its importance. 10/10 will go back and watch all the way through.
