Inspired by Chris Marker's iconic 1962 featurette La Jetée; the year is 2073—a not-so-distant dystopian future—and the setting is New San Francisco, the scorched-earth tech-dominant police state where democracy and personal freedom have been well and truly obliterated.

"Okay…so, this is not a movie. It’s also not a documentary. It’s a jumbled mess of clips. And the thing is…I don’t disagree at all with the thesis about technology, authoritarianism, injustice…it’s terrible. And this movie really tried to deliver something cohesive about those subjects but ultimately it was not effective. I’m not at all opposed to learning more about all the historical things I didn’t know about in this film…and I’m horrified some of them were news to me.
But from a purely movie-review place I have to say that you can’t promise this is a story told from the perspective of Ghost in a post-apocalyptic world when it really isn’t. We don’t get to spend any time with her and her plot line is just sad and grim (which I get is the point.) "
