" Maybe my movie review here is a little biased since this was one of my favorite childhood movies. I absolutely loved this film. The producers did a very good job touching on important topics that would have been prevalent in the late 1950’s, such as interracial partnerships, and racism. They successfully integrated these topics into the story without tainting the innocence of the film for young viewers. The soundtrack was astonishingly impeccable. The piano scene where we could hear a sample of “Peace Piece” by Bill Evans (covered in the film by John Beasley) was nothing short of PURE MAGIC. Ray Liotta and Whoopi Goldberg did an amazing job! 10 out of 10 for me. This film will always be a classic. "
